Almost every single time when I talk with an internet user about his feeling about using the global network I hear about spam. That term at the moment is quite popular and people used to think that spam was started in the internet. If we are going to think about it for a moment we should realize that even before the age of the internet people got spammed. In my opinion spam was born with the marketing and till today is one of the biggest weapons in hands of marketers. Millions of messages daily – what can we do with it? It is obvious that we can’t stop it from being send. There is only one possibility of dealing with spam. We need to build huge wall to not let spam get thought. Of course when I say wall I don’t mean it literally because there is program that will build virtual wall which will allow only trusted and desired messages through. We can compare spam filter to a Chinese Great Wall which was build around the kingdom to keep it safe. Actually that comparison fits more to another filter which I would like to introduce you. Web filter! This one is also called url filter and was created to filter every single content which would like to enter our computers through the internet cable. Final conclusion? Let it go but be prepared.
